Values are for the financial year (April–March) and cover agricultural and allied products (including marine and plantation products).
What the numbers say
- India's agricultural and allied exports crossed US$50 billion for the first time in 2021-22 and peaked at about US$53.1 billion in 2022-23.
- Exports eased to about US$48 billion in 2023-24, partly as export curbs on rice, wheat and sugar reined in outbound shipments.
- Rice, marine products, spices, sugar and buffalo meat are among the largest contributors to the export basket.
