What the numbers say
- MSP for pulses and oilseeds has been raised steadily to nudge farmers toward these import-dependent crops.
- For 2026-27, tur (arhar) rose ₹450 to ₹8,450/quintal, groundnut ₹254 to ₹7,517, and soybean ₹380 to ₹5,708.
- The government pegs the assured margin over cost highest for tur (about 59%).
