What the numbers say
- MSP for pulses and oilseeds has been raised steadily to nudge farmers toward these import-dependent crops.
- For 2025-26, tur (arhar) rose ₹450 to ₹8,000/quintal, groundnut ₹480 to ₹7,263, and soybean ₹436 to ₹5,328.
- The government pegs the assured margin over cost highest for tur (about 59%).
