- Wheat MSP has risen from ₹2,015/quintal (RMS 2022-23) to ₹2,585/quintal (RMS 2026-27) — about ₹570 over four seasons. Common paddy moved from ₹2,040 to ₹2,441 over the same period.
- Paddy (common) MSP reached ₹2,369/quintal for KMS 2025-26, up from ₹2,040 in 2022-23.
- The MSP is the assured floor price at which government agencies procure; it is set on the CACP's recommendation and cleared by the Cabinet.
